A: DelivMeds is a mobile app that allows you to get new prescriptions and medication refills filled by your local independent pharmacy for same-day delivery on your time and your location.

Q: Is DelivMeds Free?
A: Yes, there is no charge to download the App and no charge to get your meds delivered by a local community Pharmacy.

Q: How do I sign up?
A: Download the App, create a username and password, sign the DelivMeds HIPAA release form and get started! Simple and easy!

Q: Is DelivMeds a pharmacy?
A: DelivMeds is not a pharmacy, we are a service provider that works with licensed local independent pharmacies in your area.

Q: Why are there no pharmacies showing up?
A: Based on your delivery location, we look for any registered pharmacy on DelivMeds within a 10-mile radius. If there are no pharmacies available to you, hang tight as we are expanding quickly. You can ask to be emailed when one becomes available near you.

Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: Yes, we accept all major insurance carriers. We also welcome anyone without insurance as you can pay for your medication out-of-pocket using any major credit card.

Q: How do I pay for my medications?
A: The pharmacist accepting your order will specify your cash or copay amount. Confirm the order and expect a call from the pharmacy to accept payment over the phone using any major credit card.

Q: Do you accept drug discounts?
A: Not at this time, though some pharmacy’s on DelivMeds may. Feel free to ask your local pharmacist about their prescription discount programs. Paying by cash can sometimes be cheaper than your co-pay!

A: Simply take a picture of your bottle, copy of script, or manually enter your prescription details using your valid prescription number, name of drug and quantity.

Q: Do you take New Prescriptions?
A: Yes, you can specify if your doctor is sending the script when creating an order. The pharmacist will take care of the order process from there. Like Refills you can also enter or upload your prescription details manually.

Q: How do I transfer prescriptions?
A: When creating an order, select “Transfer Rx” and specify the pharmacy name and telephone number from which your script is coming from.

A: Unfortunately, no. Most pharmacies by law do not deliver these products and require you pick up medication like this in person.

Q:  How do the deliveries work?
A: When asked to confirm your order, you specify the delivery time of choice.
NOTE: If you are confirming an order 1-hour before the pharmacy’s specified delivery hours you may have to choose a delivery time for the following business day.

A: Please contact the pharmacy from which you ordered your prescription from with any questions regarding your order.
